Jason was born in California’s Silicon Valley and grew up in the hills of Sonora, California. In 1995 Jason moved to Fresno and began attending Fresno State. Jason has been working in the IT and customer service industry since 1992. Before joining BCT, Jason worked for Fresno State’s IT Department for over 17 years in many roles. Over 12 years of that time was spent as an IT Consultant at Fresno State providing IT management for an entire division at a time. IT management and support for the Division of Student Affairs included over 500 computers along with their servers, printers, copiers, iPads, and large format digital displays for signage.
Jason attended college at Fresno State. Since 1996 Jason has attended many professional training seminars including the SANS Security 505 training on Securing Windows with Security Controls course, Dell diagnostic and repair certification training, Project Management Institute training, ITIL® training and workshops from Tom Champoux of Effectiveness Institute.
Jason has extensive knowledge in Microsoft-based operating systems and applications, Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy, enterprise IT solutions and implementations, IT documentation and planning, backup software and mechanisms, IT project planning, trouble-shooting, crisis management and triage, vendor relations, large scale workstation deployments and customer service. Jason also has experience with many other technologies in the market today from VMware to OpenDirectory to Android to Linux to Apple Configurator. Jason is very passionate about customer service, documentation, and planning.
In Jason’s spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife Pamela and their two daughters. Jason enjoys going on family weekend trips, vacations, golfing, playing board games with family, working on projects at the house and enjoying good BBQ food.
